EXINN Energy Lab acts as a regional hub for energy innovation and technology in Albania.
EEL focuses on three fields: smart energy systems for cities, industrial energy efficiency, gas technologies and renewables. It supports and collaborates with the entities that are already established in the region. The teams manage R&D projects and provide services based on their technological expertise which includes managing new energies, digital systems such as Internet of Things (IoT) and mobile apps, as well as strengthen existing technologies to enhance energy-related infrastructures and energy uses.
With more than 50 experts already spanning their activities in power generation, energy services, energy trading, LNG and research, the opening of EEL paves the way for further green energy developments in Albania and the region, and further partnerships in the field of low-carbon technologies and innovation.
Our decision to establish its first Energy research centre in Albania is testament to the strong base of our capabilities that can enable companies to develop, test and commercialise innovative urban solutions to serve Albania and beyond. We look forward to deepening the partnership with Region’s research institutes and universities to customise smart city and energy management solutions for the region.

The Fourth Industrial Revolution has come as an opportunity and a challenge for all of us. Industry 4.0 is not a concept anymore but a vivid experience amongst us. At EXINN LAB we have set up our first and unique ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND ROBOTICS TRAINING ACADEMY, a fully funded Sino-European project for Industry 4.0 Science.
We are constantly hiring science graduates in physics, bio-chemistry, medical sciences, psychology, electronics, software engineering, mechanical engineering, business management and urge them to consider this lifetime opportunity and to apply to work in this academy. Women in science are very encouraged to apply.
Our experts grow and develop with robots. They make them feel, think, learn, judge and train them for the simple and advanced daily tasks. They are trained and specialised as: Robot Psychologists, Robot Trainers, Robot Testers, Prototype Designers, Project Managers, Research Scientists.

Sport-tech lab EXINN is a perfect setting where the leading sporting ventures get a front row seat to the breakthrough technologies.
At our Sport-Tech Lab we focus on development of technological equipment and the interplay between equipment and human performance. In the projects, we work with development and testing of advanced sports and health related products as for instance sports equipment, shoes, rackets, flooring and apparel.
