The FinTech Landscape in Albania

A FinTech “find and facts” mission

EXINN is fully involved in the latest research project for the Albanian FinTech Market. In this study, conducted on behalf of an EU private donor, we provide the first comprehensive analysis of the Albanian FinTech industry. We quantify the market volume of the industry between 2008 to 2016.

On the basis of this data, we will also predict the future development of eight sectors of the FinTech market, offering detailed forecasts for the years 2020, 2025, and 2035.

FinTech is a very fast-moving and dynamic industry, in which there is a multitude of different business models. Comparable with other industries having a large share of startups companies, it is assumed that not all of the recent innovations in the existing market are viable. However, the future undoubtedly holds new ideas and business models that will help to fill these gaps with different innovations.

In this research study, then, we provide a comprehensive overview of current trends and the drivers of growth that have affected the FinTech industry in the past, as well as the factors that could spur and hinder growth in the industry in the future.

Export Development

Master of Exports Program 2017-2019

An Export Support and Coaching program for Albanian SMEs

Exporting is top-sport. It requires very fit exporters that have been well trained, are strategically well prepared, have the right attitude.

The exporters are facing markets that are constantly changing. Markets were in the past slowly evolving, the changes go nowadays much faster, even so fast that a large number of entrepreneurs have a problem to adjust themselves to these changes.

The objectives of the program

  •  Make companies competitive
  •  Prepare them thoroughly for the Western European market
  •  Fill the export toolbox of the participants
  • Coach the participants towards the first export order.

The program

The program consists of 7 encounters, from which 6 are planned and budgeted for, whilst encounter nr. 7 will be defined during the execution of the program, in dialogue with the sponsors and the participants. It is not necessary that all participants opt for the same market entry option.

The workshop sessions take place from 19.00 to 21.00, in order not to interrupt the normal daily activities too much. During the day (from early morning to 16.00 PM, the consultants visit the companies and help and coach them on a one-to-one basis.

Each encounter take place approximately one month after the previous activity. The whole program, up to and inclusive encounter 6 will therefore take approx 7 to 8 months. The exact timing of the sessions will be planed carefully in order to accommodate national or religious holidays. If possible, we like to use also the Saturdays for private consultancy.

We are confident that we can achieve the objectives. It is our policy to accept 70% of the program’s price as a fixed price and 30% as a performance fee. The performance fee will be paid out as soon as a participant books the first order as a result of this program.

A Circular Country Program

Building the Circular economic system in Albania

EXINN Technology Center aims also to be a world leader consultancy in managing circular economy projects. Our current economy is largely linear. We take, make, use, and then dispose. We therefore need to me more resource-efficient in the way we use and re-use our resources. This will make our enterprises more economic and more sustainable in the long run. By applying the concept of the circular economy in business, we are creating systems that keep the value added in products for as long as possible and eliminate waste. We ensure that the resources stay within the economy and can be used productively again and again. We reduce demands in natural resources, improves efficiency and reduce costs. We open up new revenue streams and foster innovation within many sectors and industries.

At EXINN’s we are aware of the fact that the future is circular and we should go towards a zero waste approach. EXINN offers the most effective circular economy solutions to our the SMEs .

The Circular City of the Future

BlueCity concept, is a special development hub where entrepreneurs are encouraged to “observe nature and to create endless circles of value” and in this way to “redefine the economy”.

We aim to make the first Blue City fully operational in Tirana within the 2029. A new wave of circular entrepreneurs will develop their start-ups within this circular eco-system where impact entrepreneurship will be taken very seriously.

We see immense opportunities for circular economy in Albania and we are fairly positive that a new era of circular market products starting from coffee waste, textile waste, plastic waste is in the rise.

We welcome every new entrepreneur that believes in the circular concept to join with us in our vision and mission of creating and sustaining the biggest circular blue city in the region.
